2009 Annual AMHC Brunch and Awards

Sunday November 8th at the Winners Circle Restaurant, Route 5, Fonda

Brunch begins at 11:00 am, a short AMHC meeting will be held at 10:30 to elect 2010 officers

$9.95 per person, $5.00 for kids 8 and under

We will also be having a Silent Auction for anyone who would like to donate or bid on items

and a voluntary gift exchange, $15.00 value.

2009 Companion Horse Program

The purpose of the Companion Horse Division is to encourage and promote the versatility and enjoyment of the miniature horse through participation in a variety of public activities.  Activities may include but are not limited to parades, exhibitions, nursing home visits, public appearances, and group or club activities. 

Nominations for the Companion Horse Division are to be completed and on file with the club prior to participation in any activity for that and any subsequent activities to be counted toward the Year End High Point Awards.  A Nomination is to be for a horse/handler combination.   The horse’s owner must be a member of the Adirondack Miniature Horse Club.

The Activities form is to be filled in by the handler, initialed by the appropriate event official, and filed with the club by October 15 to be considered for the current year’s High Point Awards.

2009 Membership

2009 Clinic

An informal clinic will be held on April 15, 200p at Summer Field Farm. Topics will include clipping, training, showing, attire etc. Open to all AMHC members. This should prove to be an informative clinic for everyone. Please contact Becky Montano at beckym22@yahoo.com with any questions.
